Maria B is a famous Pakistani designer; she has a great reputation in society, so people are very concerned about her matters. Recently, Maria B and her husband Tahir got into a controversy; it is related to the coronavirus case.
According to reports, her husband has been taken into the custody of police for sending his cook to his village Vihari, Punjab who had tested positive for coronavirus.
Maria spread the video message on social media in which she said, at midnight her house was raided by policemen who forcibly arrested her husband, who also owns the brand, even letting him call without a lawyer. She said
“Last night they raided my house like I was the biggest drug mafia don,” An FIR has been registered against her husband.
She is crying in her video message and demanding justice for her husband
and appealed to the Prime Minister to release her husband. The police arrested him without giving any genuine reason.
But later on according to the Lahore police, Tahir Saeed, the owner of the popular brand was arrested by the Nishtar colony Police for sending his infected cook to his village vihari. Lahore police claim that “Tahir Saeed after knowing that his chef was corona positive sent his employee to his village through local transport, which is a big crime. Hiding a corona patient is no small deal in times of global crises and we will ensure that all such acts are also duly followed up.”
Police authorities said that the police action was justified as they conducted a raid to arrest Tahir Saeed,

Tahir Saeed has been released from police custody on bail hours. Maria B confirms this news in her other video.
Maria B and her husband explained in another video what had happened, saying that strange news had been making its way on social media.
They said they wanted to clear the controversy related to her viral video regarding her husband’s arrest related to an alleged coronavirus case.
Tahir Saeed said around 20 policemen had arrived at their doorstep, describing it as “abuse” and “harassment”. had stormed their house in the dark of the night.
Tahir Saeed said in their video “I cannot tell you how these people behaved yesterday…they used the butt of the gun to break my door open,”
“When I opened the door I was shocked to see three vehicles from two different police stations and 20-25 men had come to get me.” And yesterday’s incident was pure panic for both of us”
In the video, they both thanked Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and the Pakistan Army for intervening in the matter and for saving her trust in the country’s institutions.
“I did not think someone would understand my pain,” she said.
After this, The Lahore Police stated that
Hiding a corona patient is no small deal in this current of global crises and we will ensure that all such acts are also duly followed up.”
