Why Do You Believe in God?

God

When did u start believing in God? Let me guess, since your childhood, right? Like most of us, you might also have started worshipping God without understanding the verses of the Holy Book. Isn’t that blind followership? Or you are among those who have a rational approach towards God?
Ever wondered why exactly you believe in God? How do you know there is any? Well, I asked the same question to many people n here are the top 3 interesting responses.

Do take a look n share your views why do YOU believe in God!

” Ami Nay Kaha Tha”

It might not come as a surprise to you that many believe in God because their parents told them so. ‘MERI AMI KEHTI HAIN’ is the most common response you will ever hear. You can try this too. Ask people why they believe in God and many will respond like:

  • Mjhe Ami ny btaya tha
  • Teacher ny parhaya tha
  • Qari Sahab ny btaya tha

And a pitiful one is ‘Pta nai, bs sab kehtay hain to hai’

No offense intended, but don’t you think there should be a sound basis for your belief? How can you believe in something or someone just because others tell you to do so?

Although we live in a society where religious beliefs are a part of our brought up but now that you have reached a point in life where you can explore your world, don’t you think it’s time to find HIM?
Look for Him so that your belief can have a firm basis.

Social Impact

Some of the people claim to believe in God mainly because they are afraid of the societal boycott. With severe criticism faced by atheists, those who are confused also pretend to be firm believers to avoid any negative reaction from the people around them.
With the fear of being misunderstood and labeled as an Atheist, many inquisitive minds hold themselves back and continue to spend their lives in confusion while apparently believing in god.
The worst part is, many don’t understand that it’s okay to ask questions. There is nothing wrong with being logical. Instead of being afraid of LOG KIA KAHYN GAY, you should be focused more on acquiring inner peace and finding answers to the questions that you never dared to ask anyone.
The cultural values, peer pressure, and family environment often compel people to pretend to be believers. You might also know such people in your circle who follow religion as a trend; because others do so!

A word of advice? Just be yourself! Be clear about your beliefs and strive to find what’s right. Be consistent in your struggle to find a logical basis for your belief and you will soon find your answers.

You Found Him

Amid the ones who blindly follow religion and those who don’t believe in any, there are many lucky people who actually found Him. How? Through personal experiences!
These are the blessed ones who dared to step out of their comfort zone and developed their own understanding of Religion and God instead of blindly following the family norms and cultural traditions.
Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing absurd with following the traditions. The point is, you should know deep in your heart that why you are doing what you are doing!
Those who find HIM through their personal journeys and lifelong struggles are at peace. They feel connected and see the virtues of God in every human being.

So, why do you believe in God? Have your father told you? or You really found Him? Share your personal experiences about how and when did you find God. Your feedback will be highly appreciated!

Well i Used to believe in God a lot back then. But now i can’t say that i believe in anything like God. May be because i never found anything like that so far. And yeah you got the point. We are surrounded by blind followers who don’t even know what they are doing.
