The Underrated Benefits that Every Abaya Girl Enjoys

Abaya

Modest dressing is the new fashion. Are you one of the abaya girls? Well, if you are, you must have an idea of how peaceful it feels to go out in abaya. In addition to keeping the evil eyes off (to some extent), it offers numerous interesting benefits as well.

Why do you think girls wear abayas? Is it the religious aspect, or the cultural norms that let girls choose wearing abayas? Or is it something else?

Well, different girls have different reasons, the primary one being a comfortable feel that it provides.  It makes us feel at peace knowing that we are no more a showpiece for the people around and they have nothing to scan (men do have this superpower, you know) no matter how hard they try.

Interestingly, there are several incredible and complementary benefits of wearing an abaya. Let’s take a look at some of them!

Easy Peasy

With the comfort of not having to adjust the shirt and dupatta every now and then, we feel immensely at ease. The abaya girls find themselves super comfortable even in the crowded markets and local buses where other girls often have to bear the piercing eyes of the surrounding people.

So yeah, wearing abaya makes us feel easy and comfortable!

Saves Time

How many times has it happened to you that you woke up late for work and had no time to press your clothes? It happens to me a lot. But guess what, abaya always saves the day!

It’s great, isn’t it? Nobody on earth can know if you are wearing a proper three-piece suit underneath abaya or not. And trust me, no one can see the creases on your dress. This is indeed a perk that I love the most. Every girl who wears abaya knows the enhanced comfort it provides.

We don’t have to iron our clothes daily. We just get up, wear whatever is available at the moment and wear abaya over it. That’s it and we are ready to go. It does save us from the troublesome task of ironing clothes daily.

Saves Money

Coming to our next benefit, wearing abaya saves a lot of money that one could have otherwise spent on buying clothes.  Why would you care to wear a branded dress for office or university when you are going to wear abaya over it?

Knowing that what you wear under abaya is not visible, you can choose to wear anything (literally). I remember going to the office in my night suit once. (Off course, I was wearing abaya over it). Many of you must have done the same I guess.

Most of the working women have to spend a significant portion of their salary on buying office wear but for us, that’s not really a problem. Abaye Girls don’t have to spend money on buying dresses for daily use or office use.

Abaya is a true blessing in disguise and wearing it provides these amazing benefits. Do you want to add something? How does wearing abaya favors you? Do share your views!
