Sindh govt asks public to stay in till 23 March
The countryside corona virus cases increased to 501, of which Sindh 252 cases have been reported in Sindh. Considering this sparing spread of Covid-19, the government of Sindh decided on Friday to limit public to their homes to contain the virus in the province
During the 23rd meeting of the provincial task force on corona virus, chief minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah said that people should go to complete isolation for three days. He further said that self isolation is one of the most viable option to contain the virus spread in the vicinity. Meanwhile, it is necessarily important for the public to keep people aware of the precautionary measure around their respective circles, adding that the public cooperation in this regard is inevitably important.
The Coronavirus tally rises to 501
In a month =, the virus in Pakistan has infected 501 people in the country leaving the one patient dead of the virus in Karachi. Meanwhile, provincially, 252 cases are reported in Sindh. followed by Punjab with 96 cases, 92 cases in Baluchistan, 30 cases in Gilgit and 23 cases in Khyber pakhtoon khuwah. however, only 1 cases is reported in Azad Jamu&Kashmir.
Globally, WHO reports that more that 2450000 people have been infected , and it has left more than 10000 infected persons dead.
In the wake of coronavirus increase, Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government and the PPP leadership is extremely concerned over the spread of virus and the Sindh government have been monitoring and making all possible efforts to contain the virus in the province and he demanded public cooperation as well.
The Inspector General of Sindh, (IGP,Sindh), Mushtaq Mahar said that the a group of 4 people will be considered as illegal anywhere in the province and action against those violating this will be taken seriously.
