Sindh govt announces 30,000 stipend to writers, artists,and poets

The Sindh government under the leadership of its young chairman Bilawal Bhutto has set a tremendous precedence in fighting against coronavirus in the province. Sindh government had formed Health task Force for any kind of emergency in the country pertaining to nCovid-19.

Chief minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has been seen on forefront and active in monitoring and directing the necessary steps to contain Coronavirus in the province . The Chief Minister had taken step prudently to close all educational institutions across the province till May 2020 considering the sparing spread of the virus.

Among many other good initiatives taken by Sindh government amid covid-19, the much appreciated  provincial government has once again taken initiative for writers, artists, poets, and literary persons in the province.

This is much lauded decision by Syed Sardar Shah, cultural minister in Sindh.

The #SindhGovt has decided to issue the #Stipend to needy writers, poets & artists from next week under its #CultureDept. More than 800 artists will recieve Rs 30,000 in its first phase. In his tweet, Sardar Shah writes said.” The on going pandemic of corona virus has made the lives of poor in the  province where the lively hood of heroes who  are always engaged in serving the literature of Sindh, language and have been writing for the poor people have become worsened. Considering their plights, we have decided to bestow stipend to the literary people in Sindh.  Prominent writers  including professor Irfana Mallah has appreciated this decision of Sindh government. This would surely reduce the suffering of people for their both ends meet.

Initially, 800 literary persons would be given 30,000 per person in the province.

PPP government has set an excellent example of good governance in Sindh:

Although, people had always punched the Pakistan Peoples Party for its inefficient policies, however,  amidst the corona virus situation, the PPP government under the leadership of its young charismatic leader Bilawal Bhutto has been seeen  on forefronts fighting against corona virus. The PPP government has effectively managed the mayhem of covid-19 in the province despite scarce resources.  The good governance by Sindh government has been followed by the federal government including other provinces as well pertaining to lock down decision. Meanwhile, the  Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah is vehemently concerned with the ongoing situation of coronavirus and is actively participating in all meetings on province and federal levels and has been visiting coronavirus centers to get the first hand information about the situation.
