Prominent politician Dr. Nafisa Shah’s sister tests positive for coronavirus

The coronavirus has surged exponentially in SIndh including other parts of the country. The coronavirus has infected paramedics and doctors vehemtly who are at the front line fighting against the covid-19.
Pakistan People’s Party’s central infromation secretary and prominent memeber of National Assembly, Dr Nafisa Shah;s sister , Dr Nusrat Shah has been tested positive for the lethal virus on Monday evening. According to sources, Dr Nusrat Shah has isolated her self in her home after her reports showed positive result.

It is note worthy that promiennt personalities including Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Governor Sindh, Imran Ismail, KP MPA have also been tested positive for the coronavirus.

How many doctors, paramedics infected by the coronavirus in Pakistan?
An increasing number of healthcare professionals across the country have started testing positive for the novel coronavirus in the past few days, with at least 257 confirmed infections among doctors and paramedics between May 5 and May 9.
The increase has left officials worried about the treatment of virus patients at tertiary-care hospitals and the care of serious or critical cases related to the virus at facilities across the country. 11 health professionals have so far lost their life to the deadly virus in Pakistan.
