Pakistani born UK Parliamentarian Sajid Javid resigns from post
Sajid Javed resigned as Chancellor form the government in a bid negating to sack the 10 advisers his chancellorship. The 10 advisers had clash with the Johnson’s senior adviser, Dominic Cummings, over issues such as restraints on spending.
Sajid Javid was born in Pakistan and moved to the United Kingdom. He was elected as the member of parliament (MP) in June 2019 as served as the chancellor in the UK.
According to the sources John Borrison demanded Sajid Javid who had been serving as the chancellor of the exchequer that the 10 special advisers of the exchequers should be fired by him and if he fails , he will be removed from the post, and the same happened that Sajid had to quit the job.
According to internal sources of the government the clash of Cummings, the special assistant to the UK Prime Minister with the Sajid Javid increased resulted into chancellor’s resignation from the post.
Moreover, Labour’s John McDonnell, the shadow chancellor, said Javid’s resignation showed that Cummings had “clearly won the battle to take absolute control of the Treasury and install his stooge as chancellor”.
Additionally, it is also interesting to note that Sajid Javid also visited Pakistan in 2019 and also addressed the Punjab Assembly in Lahore.
