The World Health Organisation has warned Pakistan that the corona virus cases  will be increased to 200000 after June, if the government fails to take effective measures in the country.

The Director General WHO, Doctor, Tedos Adhano, warned Pakistan about the upcoming wave of the covid-19 while he was addressing the virtual meeting at the launch of Pakistan National Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan.  This plan of strategy is is joint response of Pakistan and other UN partner countries to fight against coronavirus in the world.

Now, it has spread globally, upending health systems and economies, and putting lives and livelihoods at risk"-@DrTedros at the Launch of #Pakistan National Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan virtual conference pic.twitter.com/XKLUEifu5H

The situation of coronavirus in Pakistan is alarming amid the unpreparedness by the federal government.

Unfortunately, there is massive tug of war between the provinces and the federal  government.  The PTI government in federal is reportedly seems lazy in making the lock down effective as asked by WHO. Notably, stern lock down is need of an hour to contain the coronavirus cases in Pakistan. It is also important to note that the coronavirus cases in Pakistan have increased exponentially since last 15 days which is caution for the upcoming dangerous wave of the covid-19 in every part of the country.
