Nation lauds PPP’s efforts in curtailing Coronavirus in Sindh
The Sindh government under the leadership of its young chairman Bilawal Bhutto has set a tremendous precedence in fighting against coronavirus in the province. Sindh government has formed Health task Force for any kind of emergency in the country pertaining to nCovid-19.
Chief minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has been seen on forefront and active in monitoring and directing the necessary steps to contain Coronavirus in the province . The Sindh Chief Minister had taken step prudently to close all educational institutions acros sthe province till May 2020 considering the sparing spread of the virus.

In his recent presser, the spokesperson of Sindh government Barrister Murtaza Wahad said that a total of 853 came back to Pakistan from Iran through Taftan border with Iran. Out of these pilgrims 288 have been rushed to Sukkur after doing screening. However, other pilgrims are stayed at the border and after completing their quarantine period, they will also be allowed to enter the Province.
Sindh government has established quarantine center which has capacity of more than 1024 flats. The capacity of this quarantine center could accommodate 2148 persons at the one time. Besides this government has devoted two buildings for the corona virus screened patients.

The Sindh government has successfully established quarantine centers in Chandka Medical College, Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College Sukkur, Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences khairpur, and Jacobabad Institute of medical sciences. These centers are fully equipped with all necessary equipments and meducines.
A total of 12 quarantine centers have been established in the province including Jinnah Post Graduate Medical College, Dow University, Civil Hospital Karachi, and Layari Medical Univeristy Karachi. Besides thsi, the Sindh governemtn has established quarantine centers in LUMS medical university, Jamshoro, People’s medical university Shaheed Benazerabad, Civil Hopital Mirpurkhas.
Two special emergency centers have also been devoted in case of any emergency in far flung area in the province containing 100 beds with quarantine facility and 16 ventilators for special emergency cases.
Sindh government has shown responsibility and commitment to fight against cornovirus.
WHO country head expresses satisfaction over measures taken by Sindh Governemnt
The country head of the world health organisation (WHO) Dr Palitha Gunarathna Mahipala visited Karachi Airport on Friday and said that Sindh government has taken world’s best measures to contain lethal virus in Pakistan. He also met with Sindh Health Minister Azra Pechuho and appreciated her for this necessary arrangement to avoid any spread of the virus in other parts of the province and country.

The Sindh government has shown the best example of governance recently to curtail cornovirus spread in the country. The decision of ban on any religious, political, social, or festival activities has been followed by all other provinces. recently, the province has banned any kind of congregation which the civil society has welcomed.
