Molana Tariq Jameel apologises about his words

Famous religious scholar Molana Tariq Jameel has apologized about his words for media that he uttered during dua at the time of PM’s telethon for coronavirus fund raising on national TV channels on Friday.
While speaking to TV channel he said that he had committed a mistake as he should have not commented about the media.
Particularly, many female social media users slammed him for reference to ‘liberty of women.’ They argued that Maulana Tariq Jameel has no right to object to their liberties and they are free to dress and socialize in society.
What did Molana Tariq Jamil say about media:
During dua, Molana Tariq Jamil said that Pakistani media is lier like foreign media and he also refereed that all nudity in Pakistan is spread through media. These remarks about TV channels had created quiet buzz on tweeter and other social media sites and people vehemently criticized Tariq Jameel being a ” political agenda carrying molvi”
Molana Jameel had also said that once, the owner of a private news channel met him and sought advice. “I told him to eliminate lies from the channel to which he responded by saying that if that were to happen, his channel would be finished but not the lies,” he added.
Molana Tariq Jamil is all weather friend to governments
On many occasions, Tariq Jamil has supported and uttered words of sympathy for the sitting governments as previously he is captured sitting with former PM Nawaz Sharif.
