Coronavirus relief fund distribution to start today: Imran Khan
Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Wednesday that the funds for the coronavirus relief funds will distributed from Thursday (Today).
The distribution of funds will be made possible under the Ehsaas Programme initiated by e incumbent government of PTI in Pakistan.
According to this programme, Rs.1.2. million cash transfers will be made among the poor and needy families who are badly affected by the on going coronavirus lock down in the country. Each family will be given Rs. 12000.
The focal person for the program, Dr. Sania Nishtar said that the funds transfer will be made through barometric verification so that the availability of funds be allocated to the desired needy people in Pakistan.
She further said that the government will disburse the amount after verification of a family that whether family is eligible for the relief fund or not.

It is necessarily important o note that due to the prevalent lock down in Pakistan, the people have suffered enormously and this situation has caused state of hunger and unavailability of basc necessities to the daily wage labours. The government had launched a program In which the poor families will be supported by disbursement of cash to them so that they could make both ends meet.
Latest coronavirus update in Pakistan:
Currently, the coronavirus cases have been increasing in Pakistan. There are 4207 cases have been reported in Pakistan. Moreover, 61 deaths have been reported across the country as well.
Provincially, Punjab has reported 2108 cases followed by Sindh which has 1036 cases thus far. Similarly, the situation in KPK has been increasing as it has reported 527 cases thus far. Baluchistan has reported 212 cases, while GB has 213 reported cases as latest. Islamabad has 83 reported cases , while Azad Jammu&Kashmir has only 28 cases. The government of Pakistan has therefore increased the time period of lock down in the country so that the coronavirus increase can be contained.
