COAS orders emergency medical supplies for Quetta doctors
The Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has ordered on Tuesday to supply the medical supplies and other necessary equipment on emergency basis for Quetta doctors.
According to the DG ISPR Babar Iftikhar, the personal protective equipment (PPE) and other necessary medical supplies has been sent to doctors in Quetta who are engaged in treatment to the corona virus patients.
The DG ISPR further said that the chief of army staff lauded the services of the doctors, and paramedics who are serving the nation at this difficult times of covid-19.

Protest by the doctors in Quetta for coronavirus
Previously on April 6th, the doctors in Quetta protested for inadequate of medical equipment and other supplies necessary for corona virus treatment. The situation turned worse when the police forces launched operation against the doctors and keep them behind bars in Quetta. In this wake, the chief of army staff ordered medical equipment and other medical supplies for hospitals in Quetta on emergency basis.
Latest update of corona virus in Pakistan:
The cases of corona virus has been increasing exponentially in Pakistan. Similarly, Pakistan is facing a globe pandemic covid-19( Coronavirus), nearly 4004 confirmed cases of covid-19 reported including 55 deaths and recovery of 429 patients. Punjab remained the worst-hit with 2004 cases.

Pakistan Army has always been on fore front for any emergency situation or in any disaster in Pakistan. The Armed forces have always served the nation selflessly. However, amidst the exponential outbreak of corona virus in Pakistan, the government in Sindh had called the armed forces for help in the corona virus pandemic. Earlier in March, the COAS had said that Pak Army has been helping equally the civilian government to avoid spread of corona virus in the country. Therefore, the Pak Army has been rendering services and protecting the nation.
