CM Sindh announces to open markets from Monday
Amidst the increasing cases of corona virus in the country, the federal government announced on Friday that the government would ease the lock down on Saturday. CM Sindh has announced today ( Sunday) that the markets will be opened on Monday.
The Sindh government considering the exponential surge in the case announced that the provincial government would not ease lock down in Sindh. CM Sindh maintained to say on Saturday that the Sindh government can not ease lock down to let the coronavirus cases increase in the province.
However, CM Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced on Sunday that the Sindh government has decided to open the markets from Monday May 11, 2020.

All markets across the province will be opened except shopping malls, Shah announced in a press briefing. The shops will be opened from 6:00 in the morning till 5:00 PM under the SOPs, the chief minister said.
The traders will be responsible for enforcement and compliance of the SOPs, Sindh chief minister stressed. He urged for special focus on maintaining social distancing. “We have to take more strict decisions in case of further increase in coronavirus infection cases”.
However, Sindh government spokesman Murtaza Wahab earlier said that 4,215 tests were conducted during the previous 24 hours against which 709 came back positive,
