Center is not cooperating Sindh on Coronavirus : Murtaza Wahab
According to Spokesman for the sindh government Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Karachi is the biggest city of Pakistan and mainly ninty percent of cases have been discovered here so huge precautions are needed here, He added that the helping hand which federal government would have provided was totally not present at the place.
Till now twenty cases of coronavirus has been discovered in Pakistan , 15 of which were found in Karachi.
He declared in a press conference in Karachi that precautionary measures are needed at Karachi airport and he wants that Federal government should take an immediate step to improve its virus monitoring system, He said that till now Sindh government is testing people who have entered in province and ,
” Those who were tested positive were shifted into isolation wards without any delay and doctors are keeping a continuous check on them”.
Barrister Murtaza Wahab in this regard accepted that Provincial government is cooperating through this hard time but on the other side of the coin Federal government is totally silent and not realizing its responsibilities.
Chief minster of Sindh government had been on ground the day it all started occurring and he never tried to observe anything from distant but always tried his best to provide all reasonable sources to help and control the deadly situation on ground, and he arranged a meeting of the corona virus task force , but again no response from Federal government.
Wahab also explained that he is not blaming anyone but he wants that Federal government should provide the testing facilities on the border,
He also requested media not to disclose personal information of the victims of corona virus as ” It is our basic duty to protect victim’s privacy”.
