BYKEA releases 7 million corona-relief fund for its drivers

Pakistan’s motor bike service BYKEA has donated Rs.7 million to support its partner drivers affected by the Lock down in Pakistan due to corona virus.
The service has released this donation considering the financial crisis of BYKEA drivers across Pakistan an the drivers of BYKEA have been affected severely. The CEO BYKEA Muneeb Mayeer has said that due to prevailing lock down situation of the country amidst Corona virus, approximately 30,000 daily wage laborers have been affected who are associated as a drivers for BYKEA service. He further added that our drivers have been miserably affected, therefore, we have launched this donation for our drivers.

Due to standstill situation after the massive increase of Corona virus in Pakistani, the country’s labour class has been miserably affected and this has caused severe problem for the daily wage earning class for both ends meet. In this regard, the government of Pakistan had also announced a program for the same class so that the marginalized class may not face any food and basic necessity shortage in the country.
Prime minister pf Pakistan, Imran khan has initiated Corona-relief Fund to support the marginalized class in Pakistan and subsequently he had also announced a Tiger-Force Volunteer Program who will work as volunteers to distribute the ration among the needy people across all parts of the country.
As of Wednesday evening, 2119 cases have been reported in Pakistan and 28 deaths are caused due to Covid-19.Provincially, there is exponential increase in the coronavirus in Punjab which has reported 709 cases followed by Sindh having 709 reported corona-infected patients. Likewise, the situation in Balochistan is also worrisome which has 158 cases. The cases of corona in KPK has also increased to 253, while GB has 184 reported cases. Islamabad has reported 58 cases thus far and Azad Jammu&Kashmir has only 9 reported cases as of Wednesday.
